The next morning, Martin was feeling nervous and guilty but Cal was chipper and cheerful, up early and making waffles.

"Hey man, Martin said cautiously. "You sleep well?"

"Yeah," Cal said. "Like a baby. Man, last night was just what I needed. I don't even have a hangover or anything."

Martin chuckled nervously. "Yeah, well, a good night out is just what you need to get out of your head-space."

"No, I mean when you were fucking me up the ass." Cal put a plate of waffles in front of his friend. "Do me a favor, though. Next time maybe use a little lube? My ass feels all raw as hell."

"Oh," Martin said. "I didn't know if you'd remember... you were pretty hammered."

"I know. You were the one hammering me."

"I mean you were passed out."

Cal nodded. "Yeah, at first I thought it was a dream, but then I saw the stain we left on your couch."

"Fuck."

"That reminds me." Cal sat down across from Martin and started in on his own breakfast. He pointed his fork at the other man. "After breakfast I'm totally taking a crack at your ass."

Martin blinked. "Oh. Okay."

Cal took a sip of delicious orange juice. It was going to be a great day.
